To everything there is a season… in this eclectic patchwork quilt of a program! The first half features a freewheeling mini cabaret for soprano and piano. Next up, HK Gruber’s charmingly experimental “MOB” pieces make an intriguing pairing with Martinů’s musical soap opera based on the love life of kitchen utensils. (Really.) The program culminates with one of the most famous and influential theatrics of all time: the relentless, seductive, revolutionary The Rite of Spring.
