Your generosity supports artist attraction + retention efforts for Season 12 (and beyond)!

CFC’s festival artists help make ChamberFest the unique experience you have come to anticipate. The acclaimed musicians who visit Cleveland each summer have put ChamberFest on the premier summertime classical music festival map.

  • Our goal over the next three years is to increase artist fees to stay on pace with other festivals.
  • Fair wages will help ensure that YOUR favorite artists — and exciting, emerging talent — visit Cleveland for “Sacred + Profane” in 2024 (and for many years to come)!

Make a Gift to ChamberFest Today!

Know that your gift of ANY size matters.
All philanthropic dollars raised help us keep ticket prices affordable, offer special programs AND free performances — and help attract the talent you expect from CFC!

Giving YOUR way also matters.

Choose to make a gift securely online, send in a check to support Cleveland’s very own classical music festival, or consider one of these vehicles:

  • Donate Your IRA Assets:  If you are 73 or older and haven’t yet taken your required minimum distribution for 2023, you can donate up to $100,000 tax-free to ChamberFest and avoid paying taxes on the income. (Note that you can begin making qualified charitable distributions at age 70 ½, even before you’re required to take distributions from your IRA.)
  • Donate Appreciated Stock:  Donating highly appreciated stock directly to ChamberFest gives you a double benefit — you receive a deduction for the fair market value and also eliminate capital gains taxes. With early planning, business owners can also offset taxes from the sale of a privately held company by donating a portion of the interests to charity.
  • Gift a Life Insurance Policy:  Consider transferring the ownership of a life insurance policy you no longer need to ChamberFest. You’ll receive a tax deduction for the annual premium payments and can make a large future gift at a small cost now.
  • Start a Charitable Gift Annuity:  You’ll receive a fixed income stream for life in exchange for making a single gift to charity now. Plus, new laws allow you to create a charitable gift annuity with a one-time, tax-free transfer of up to $50,000 from your IRA.

Please contact Executive Director Jessica Peek Sherwood at 216-236-5510 to discuss any of these options. High-impact gifts may support:

  • Artist fees over a multi-year period
  • Sponsorships (for Season 12 or its individual concerts)
  • Starting a ChamberFest Endowment (or special Endowed Funds)

Your generosity brings the joy of music each summer and supports the vitality of Cleveland, through CFC’s mission:
To nurture a deep family-like connection between musicians and audiences of all ages.
