A NOTE FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTORS…

Welcome to a journey of discovery! The human experiences of searching, loss, and recovery are universal, and can take many different forms. With this season, we aim to create a dialogue between historical and modern interpretations of this timeless theme, explored through the uniquely personal lens of chamber music.

Over the course of the season, you’ll hear works by Mozart and Chopin that were lost for centuries, but now are found. We’ve also unearthed some rarely-performed treasures and paired them with iconic classical masterpieces and innovative contemporary works. There are musical memorials to lost loved ones, poetic elegies, and even some escapist humor.

Consider this your invitation to leave any troubles at the door. We hope that you enjoy these programs, and find as much solace, joy, and fascination in music as we do.
