Franklin Cohen is not only the Founding Father (literally) of ChamberFest Cleveland, he is one of the most outstanding clarinetists, musicians, and teachers of his generation. With a professional career spanning almost 60 years, including a historic tenure as Principal Clarinet of The Cleveland Orchestra, two GRAMMY® awards, and 50 years on faculty at CIM, Frank’s extraordinary legacy is well worth celebrating. (Plus, he’s turning 80 this summer!)
