NATHAN MELTZER has been a soloist with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Aalborg Symphony, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, Philharmonia Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmónica de Medellín, Orquesta Sinfónica de Concepción, Berliner Symphoniker, Indianapolis Symphony, Adelphi Orchestra, and Bloomington, Evansville, Muncie, and Charlotte Civic orchestras. Recent appearances have included Alice Tully Hall, Musical de l’Orne in France, Giardini La Mortella in Italy, Water Island Festival in St. Thomas, Liederkranz Foundation in New York, and the Gessner-Schocken memorial recital in Cambridge. He won the International Concert Competition “Debut Berlin,” was the youngest ever to win the Windsor Festival International String Competition, and took first prize in the “Getting to Carnegie” competition. Mr. Meltzer studies with Itzhak Perlman and Li Lin at Juilliard.  He has been a concert artist with Omega Ensemble since 2016 and has participated in ChamberFest Cleveland, the Heidelberger Frühling, the Moritzburg Festival, the Perlman Music Program Chamber Workshop, and Verbier Festival Academy. He has participated in masterclasses and lessons with Joshua Bell, Pamela Frank, Vadim Gluzman, Jaime Laredo, and Donald Weilerstein and collaborated with Gilles Apap, Atar Arad, David Chan, Augustin Hadelich, Joseph Lin, Mark O’Connor, The Piano Guys, and the Ariel String Quartet. A regular guest on National Public Radio’s From the Top, he recently recorded his first compact disc with Rohan De Silva on Champs Hill. He performs on the 1734 “Ames, Totenberg” Stradivari violin.
