PLEASE NOTE: Due to inclement weather, tonight’s concert has been moved to St. Paschal Baylon.
Welcome back to the Chamberhood! This festive grand re-opening program features all the glorious colors of chamber music, starting with Dvořák’s jaunty rhythms and subtle lyricism, and a lovely sonata filled with exotic flourishes. Paul Wiancko describes his American Haiku as “a richly-textured duo that incorporates Appalachian fiddling, percussive patterns and Japanese folk-inspired melodies.” Schubert’s piano trio, from the creator of some of the most sublime chamber music ever written, is an epic, exquisite tapestry of gorgeous melodies.
