The Madison
7:30PM

From the moment you enter the open whitewashed space of The Madison, you’ll know that you’re in for a once-in-a-lifetime immersive experience. Debussy’s Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp, a floating, kaleidoscopic dreamscape, sets the stage for a luminous multi-sensory meditation on light and air by Anna Thorvaldsdottir, “one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music” (NPR). In the Light of Air is a seismic audio-visual flow—including light installation—of earthy textures, electronic ornaments, fluid transitions, and airy nuance.
