A wonderful event took place Feb. 9 at the Calfee Building. It was a benefit for ChamberFest Cleveland, which will have the concerts in June.
This was a spectacular evening for music lovers and ChamberFest supporters. The location and the performing artists meshed in great harmony. They shone the spotlight on hidden treasures in our city.
Franklin Cohen, the principle clarinet for the Cleveland Orchestra; daughter Diana Cohen, violin principle for the Calgary Orchestra, co-founders of ChamberFest; graduate of Cleveland Institute of Music students Boris Allakhverdyan, principle clarinet for the Metropolitan Opera of New York, and Stanislav Khristenko, 2013 winner of international piano concerts, reminded us how lucky we are to have these great artists and music institutions in our city.Wonderful night of music – February Fireworks
